Ray LaMontagne = I’m AMAZED.
We met him before the show, he was just standing hanging outside the venue when we went to take pictures of the marquee.  We talked to him and asked if we could get a picture, turns out he’s afraid of cameras, so we shook his hand instead.  He’s probably the most humble, meek, mild-mannered artist I’ve met.  Oh, and then he continually crushes your heart and builds it back up again when he sings.  Leona Naess (girl in the answering bell video that dated ry-ry for a while) opened and sang a few songs with Ray.  There was some amazing pedal steel, and Ethan Johns was Ray’s drummer.  It seemed like Ray had a really good time.  Indy was the opener for this tour, and we sure got a treat.  A full set, and then two encores, with Jolene for the last song.  Bliss.  If you have the chance to see him, do it, you won’t be disappointed.
